Practically twins

This is my newest nephew, Baxter James Skogman.

And this is one of my dearest friends, Mildred Kathleen Giles Molony Murray.

You can call her Kathy. I do. We work together and get entangled in all sorts of shenanigans on a daily basis. And, we wear the same size shoe, which has helped me out of many a fashion emergency.

Second only to the excitement of Baxter being born on May 28 is the fact that Kathy's birthday is ALSO MAY 28! Since Baxter's arrival on the scene, I can't help but shake the feeling that Baxter and Kathy are long lost twins. Let's examine the similarities:

1). Kathy loves bald headed men (including her husband, Randy). Baxter IS a bald headed man.
2). Kathy is unable to correctly sing the lyrics to any song. Neither can Baxter.
3). Like Baxter, Kathy wakes up at ungodly hours of the morning, bright eyed and ready to greet the day.
4). Kathy has 4 siblings. Baxter has...wait...on second thought, let's not go there. Joni might hunt me down.

Don't you agree that the evidence is stunning and undeniable? I can't wait to seek out shenanigans with the little guy.

But hey, Baxter? Keep your grubby hands off my black pumps.
